A new portal for startups based in Qatar has just launched.

The website, www.dohastartups.com, aims to be a one-stop shop for startups, investors, incubators, accelerators, mentors and other eco system enablers.

You’ll be able to register your profile and find whatever you need. The platform will also offer up networking events, jobs at startups, competitions and hackathons.

360 Nautica are behind the new website.

Founder Dr. Tejinder Singh said, “We are really looking forward to the launch and believe that this will really enhance the eco system and be an enabling factor for all stakeholders in the ecosystem.

“Qatar’s startup industry is booming with brilliant digital transformation ideas and the vision of 360nautica is to empower these startups and enable the eco system in Qatar.

“We are already the chapter owners for global programmes such as Startup Grind and will be launching many other initiatives and partnerships in the period ahead.”

The news comes after Qatar Museums and Qatar Development Bank set up a hub to support local businesses earlier this year.

The M7 incubation centre, located in Msheireb Downtown Doha, will support local entrepreneurs and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) within the fashion, design and technology industries.

It is hoped the hub will nurture a thriving startup ecosystem by providing entrepreneurs with professional guidance and coaching to hone the technical and non-technical skills needed to accelerate the growth and value of a business.
